Looking Back: African Petrochemicals & Energy Roadshow 2025
Wow—what a day!
On 30 October 2025, the African Petrochemicals and Energy community came together at Stonehaven on Vaal for the Sasolburg Roadshow—a day packed with innovation, networking, and opportunity.
As a proudly female-owned Level 1 BBBEE business, TSSI Recruit was proud to be part of it all – connecting with industry leaders, clients, and future partners who share our drive to move the industry forward.
Connections, Conversations & Collaboration
From the moment the doors opened, the energy was contagious. The air buzzed with conversations between exhibitors, executives and technical specialists, all eager to share insights and spark new opportunities.
Our team loved chatting with people who are just passionate about this industry as we are. These kinds of events remind us why relationships matter so much in what we do.
One of the highlights had to be the Megchem Executive Boat Cruise—networking with a view! Great weather, great company and plenty of laughs along the way. Amanda, our Key Accounts Manager, said it best, “The perfect mix of relaxation and networking,”
For Nipam, our CEO, the day was all about meaningful conversations, “The boat cruise was fantastic—meeting great people in an informal setting and having conversations that really mattered. It was a reminder of how valuable these events are for building genuine relationships.”
Showcasing Our Strengths
At our stand, we got to share what makes TSSI Recruit unique. Our agile and compliant payroll system keeps everything running smoothly, and our database of vetted, job-ready staff means we can deliver fast, accurate placements.

Kim, our Business Developer and Recruitment Consultant, summed up the vibe perfectly: “Dynamic, high-energy and such a great learning environment.” She also mentioned how valuable it was meeting key role players during the boat cruise—a networking opportunity that opened doors for future collaborations.

Another big moment for us? Jumping on a live radio interview with Coastal Radio with the fantastic Martin Nel to share what makes TSSI Recruit different and to chat about the unique challenges in petrochemical and energy recruitment.

Celebrating Success
The feedback was incredible—sunny weather (mostly!), lively conversations, and a strong sense of community.
Amanda summed it up beautifully, “Even if opportunities don’t materialize immediately, the perseverance of our team shines through.”
And of course, we couldn’t end the day without a laugh – Nipam’s favourite moment? “Watching Mands running around in the rain with our tablecloth over her head to protect that beautiful 6-hour hair-do!”
Looking Ahead
