E-commerce Retail Organisation
We facilitated 37 hires, successfully eliminating reliance on external contract workers and generating substantial cost savings of $500,000 for our client.

With over 1000 branches across the US, Australia and New Zealand, our client is a leading retailer in the plumbing, bathroom, and HVAC industry, this $9 billion-dollar organisation has been serving residential and commercial markets since its establishment in 1919.
BRIEF
Our client’s objective was to revolutionise their customer’s experience by building an innovative e-commerce platform, from scratch, to include a new online ordering and delivery service, along with developing cutting-edge mobile applications to support this aim.
OBJECTIVES
The client’s main goal was to create a brand new digital platform from scratch, requiring a substantial recruitment drive to hire highly specialised technical IT personnel.
Although equipped with an internal recruitment team, their proficiency primarily focused on sourcing high-volume blue-collar staff, leaving them unprepared to assist in acquiring top-tier IT professionals. Therefore, external support was enlisted from TSSI.
SOLUTION
We worked closely with the IT leadership team to identify and hire the best IT talent in Texas, providing consultation on efficient hiring processes and salary guidance through market mapping.
Additionally, we supported the transition from an external consultant-dependent workforce to an in-house employee model.
Throughout the hiring process, we identified and advised on cost-saving opportunities, particularly in reducing reliance on external consultants.
